Overview

The project began in January 2014 in Barcelona with the initial research into uses needs and necessities of stool in the modern environment. A few months later “Echape “ was born.

‘Inspiration came through research into the uses of stool, mostly bars happy hours, moments of socializing and escape from everyday life. In French Echape means escape, but also is a position in ballet. We have decided to combine the ethereal grace and lightness of a ballet dancer with the joy and happiness of a casual meeting at a bar between friends and acquaintances.

This chair is produced full with solid wood and made with the highest quality specialized machinery and the know-how to achieve the special features that define its forms. The piece is finished with matte oil water-based varnish.
